Hublot celebrates the BIG BANG 10th Anniversary with Gala Dinner 
On October 27, 2015, Hublot hosted the “Big Bang 10th Anniversary Gala Dinner” at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo to celebrate its iconic Big Bang collection’s decennial. Jean-Claude Biver, the Chairman of Hublot, flew all the way from Switzerland to host the exceptional gathering. He was joined by more than 200 guests, including football coach and Hublot Brand Ambassador Mr. Vahid Halilhodžić, Chairman and Founder of Italia Independent Group and Hublot Brand Ambassador Mr. Lapo Elkann, as well as Hublot fan and fashion model, Ms. Ahn Mika. 

The venue featured Hublot’s brand color “black” and showcased commemorative limited models such as “Big Bang Unico 10 Years High Jewelry” and “Big Bang Unico Full Magic Gold”. Displayed throughout the venue were several items signed by Hublot Ambassadors, including “The King of Football” Pelé and Scuderia Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel. Additionally, guests enjoyed viewing works from the 5 Finalists of the Hublot Design Prize, which was created in celebration of the Big Bang’s 10th anniversary to enable talented young designers to assert themselves through their creations and to gain public recognition. A large number of overseas guests including winners of the Hublot Design Prize and the members of the Prize’s jury also attended the gala dinner. 

The guests enjoyed a “fusion”-themed dinner, reflecting the brand’s “Art of Fusion” concept and were thrilled to see a huge birthday cake designed after the “Big Bang Unico” to celebrate the occasion, which was then cut by Jean-Claude Biver, Mr. Lapo Elkann, Mr. Vahid Halilhodžić, and Mrs Miwa Sakai, Hublot’s Asia-Pacific Regional Director. In addition, guests were mesmerized with a performance by →Pia-no-jaC← and a magic show by close up magician, Mr. Tomohiro Maeda. The crowd went wild with a raffle where a lucky few won autographed gifts from Hublot Ambassadors such as Pelé, Sebastian Vettel, Mr. Vahid Halilhodžić, Mr. Atsuto Uchida of German football club FC Schalke 04 and Masahiro Tanaka of the N.Y. Yankees. 

Expressing his happiness to be celebrating decennial of Big Bang, Hublot Chairman, Jean-Claude Biver, commented: “With the launch of Big Bang, Hublot was able to achieve great success. However we will not dwell on our current success and will continue to remain humble and strive for the best.”
