FIRST DELIVERY OF THE « ONE – PERPETUAL CALENDAR“
The time was ripe: BUBEN&ZORWEG presented the « ONE – Perpetual Calendar“ at the Baselworld 2012, the first ever wristwatch combined with a Time Mover® for hand-wound watches. The grand complication of the perpetual calendar does more than simply thrill passionate watch collectors: it also represents the ultimate reason to develop the TIME MOVER® – HANDWOUND – to enable the perfect care and maintenance of the „Grande Complication“. The first model of the strictly limited edition was recently delivered – much to the joy of the delighted customer.
When complexity is transformed into beauty… The « ONE – Perpetual Calendar“ is the result of the harmonious fusion of this innovative concept with a very elegant design. The House of BUBEN&ZORWEG has made a bold statement in the design of the „ONE – Perpetual Calendar“. It is an exceptionally fine timepiece with a perpetual calendar as its crowning glory. The complication bestows a high degree of responsibility upon the passionate collector and, even more so, upon the manufacturer. The luxury brand has fulfilled its responsibility by presenting the TIME MOVER® – HANDWOUND whose innovative functionality keeps every hand-wound mechanical watch – and in particular the perpetual calendar -running as smooth as clockwork.
The design is also a breath of fresh air in the segment for exclusive wristwatches and provides a fascinating view of the heart of the « ONE – Perpetual Calendar“: the striking, integrated complication of a perpetual calendar. The shapely design is not all that will quicken the pace of the passionate watch collector‘s heart: there is also the BZ01-MHO movement, modified by Martin Braun exclusively for BUBEN&ZORWEG.
A power reserve of 156 hours, a silicon escapement wheel and a movement diameter of 39.60 mm are equally worthy of mention. The rear of the watch is dominated by a large power reserve display and a view of the high-quality screw balance.

From our first day of business (1995) we at BUBEN&ZORWEG have been devoted to exploring the limits of technology and craftsmanship with exciting new masterpieces. We design and manufacture detailed pieces that reflect our passion for innovative technology, ground-breaking design and perfect artistry for lovers of unique masterpieces. After the company was founded in 1995, BUBEN&ZORWEG reached the first milestone with the launch of the TIME MOVER® and became market leader in the field. A clear commitment to innovation and perfection has made the TIME MOVER® technology a benchmark among watch winders, placing BUBEN&ZORWEG at the top of the world-wide watch winding market. Lovers of fine timepieces in over 100 countries entrust their valuable automatic watches to the care of TIME MOVER® modules.
The advent in 2005 of BUBEN&ZORWEG’s FINE TIMEPIECES was the first major step on the road to becoming a manufacturer of mechanical clocks. The goal from the beginning was to use innovation and master craftsmanship to create exclusive pieces that were and are without comparison.
Outstanding feature is our focus on clocks with tourbillons: an area in which BUBEN&ZORWEG is constantly breaking new ground. We surprised the experts with the double tourbillon in 2007 and again with the Orbit tourbillon in 2009. Our Atelier d’Horlogerie offers the best conditions for creating these FINE TIMEPIECES – from the design to the elaborate manufacture.
Since 2006 BUBEN&ZORWEG has offered a combination of the previous areas of operation in the form of the OBJECTS OF TIME®, opening up a new dimension for lovers of valuable watches and/or unique pieces created to complement sophisticated interiors. What once began with the “Objet de Temps I”, the world’s first combination of clock and luxurious ambience for the watch enthusiast with a clear perception of design and value, today forms the centrepiece of the BUBEN&ZORWEG portfolio. From precious single pieces to modular, individually equipped walls or rooms, BUBEN&ZORWEG is a competent, innovative partner for the creation of exclusive ambience.
In 2008 BUBEN&ZORWEG focused intensely on security, and presented the first safes which not only fulfil every safety-related wish, but, with their unique design, also represent an attractive addition to every elegant interior.
