Blancpain L-evolution Split Seconds Flyback Chronograph

Blancpain and Automobili Lamborghini Japan held a luxurious event together at Cite du Temps Ginza in Tokyo to celebrate the Super Trofeo Asia series taking place first time in Japan, at the Fuji speed way on the following weekend. To celebrate this first extreme one make race series for the first time in Japan, each company presented a new product.

Blancpain presented their “L-evolution Split Seconds Flyback Chronograph” which is designed beautifully combined technology with style, inspired by the Motorsport world. Lamborghini presented the “Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale” which is the new, extreme top model in the Gallardo lineup based on the successful race car from the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo race, the world’s fastest single-make series. The production will be limited to only 150 units. During the exquisite event, a fashion show was held featuring the Spring and Summer Collection from Collezione Automobili Lamborghini. The audience was also fascinated by the dynamic acrobatic performance by “Triangle Connection” that brought to life the strength and speed that was represented by the new products of both brands.

Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Race
In May 2009 Automobili Lamborghini started a brand new race series – the fastest one-make series in the world. Lamborghini and Blancpain confirmed the next Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo seasons in 2012 and 2013. Building on the series’ success, the Asian Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo will debut in Sepang, Malaysia in May 2012 with five further race weekends across Japan, China and Taiwan. Lamborghini offers an exclusive racing car – the Gallardo Super Trofeo with 419 kW (570 hp) engine performance, re-engineered chassis and reduced weight.
