For more than thirty years, OMEGA and James Bond have shared a relationship that has become inseparable from the British secret agent’s identity. Film after film, the watch has outgrown its role as a timekeeping instrument to become part of the character itself: an expression of precision, control and elegance in the service of missions where every detail counts.

Today, OMEGA opens a new chapter in this story by bringing James Bond and Spectre together in a single collection for the first time. The manufacture is unveiling six new 42 mm Seamaster Diver 300M models, split between two worlds that echo each other as much as they clash. Three watches carry the codes of agent 007, while the other three bear the emblem of Spectre, the organisation that embodies a very different idea of power and freedom of action.
Behind this symbolic showdown, all six pieces share the same watchmaking foundation: a 42 mm case and the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer 8806 calibre. Yet materials, dials, emblems and straps give each version its own personality. Two stainless steel models are sold individually, while two numbered box sets each pair a steel watch with a second one in platinum gold.
More than a tribute to a film saga, this collection explores a question that reaches well beyond the world of espionage: how far can a sense of duty be reconciled with independence, loyalty with personal ambition, discipline with freedom?
James Bond and Spectre: a play of opposites

James Bond embodies a form of discipline placed in the service of a mission. His sense of duty, his loyalty and his ability to act under extreme circumstances define a character whose choices are driven by responsibilities greater than himself.
Spectre follows a different logic. The organisation stands for independence, self-interest and a freedom of action released from the constraints Bond remains bound by. The two worlds therefore sit on opposite sides of a moral line, yet they share the same will to act and a determination that does not always bother with convention.
It is this duality that OMEGA has chosen to bring to the stage. Duty and freedom, discipline and independence, loyalty and personal ambition: notions that can coexist within the same person, even when they seem contradictory.
Raynald Aeschlimann, President and CEO of OMEGA, highlights what makes the approach unique: “OMEGA has been James Bond’s watch for more than thirty years, but this is the first time we have brought the spy and Spectre together in the same collection.”
The manufacture is therefore not simply dressing one watch in two emblems. It builds a dialogue between two identities, leaving each wearer free to choose the one that suits them best.
A collection of six Seamaster Diver 300M watches
All six watches are based on the 42 mm Seamaster Diver 300M, a sports platform whose proportions and construction are put to work here for a visual identity specific to each world.
Every one of them is powered by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer 8806 calibre. This shared mechanical base is the common thread of the collection, while variations in materials, colours and patterns set the James Bond pieces apart from those dedicated to Spectre.
The line-up comprises two stainless steel models available individually and two limited edition box sets. Each box set pairs a steel watch with a second version in platinum gold. They are produced in 77 numbered sets and the watches are not sold separately.
This structure gives the collection two readings: on one side, sports watches that clearly declare which world they belong to; on the other, collector sets bringing together two complementary interpretations of the same story.
James Bond: blue, titanium and the gun barrel

The stainless steel Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond, reference 210.30.42.20.03.004, favours a blue aesthetic directly tied to the identity of agent 007.
Its blue aluminium dial features a laser-engraved wave pattern. The texture adds depth to the surface while recalling the maritime heritage of the Seamaster. The bezel is made of grade 5 titanium, a material that contributes to the technical character of this version.
The watch is fitted on a brushed Milanese bracelet, whose metal construction extends the sporty character of the model.

In the James Bond box set, this aesthetic carries over to the platinum gold version, reference 210.83.42.20.03.001. The polished ceramic bezel receives a platinum diving scale, while the 18K white gold dial features a blue gradient achieved through physical vapour deposition, or PVD.
A gun barrel motif completes the composition, echoing one of the most recognisable symbols of the James Bond universe. On this precious version, the emblem on the rotor is crafted in 18K Moonshine™ gold.
The collection thus combines the visual codes of 007 with a watchmaking construction that keeps the sporty spirit of the Seamaster Diver 300M.
Spectre: a black aesthetic and a bold identity

Against Bond’s blue, Spectre opts for a darker expression. The stainless steel Seamaster Diver 300M dedicated to the organisation, reference 210.30.42.20.01.023, stands out with its black ceramic bezel and its blackened dial with a grained finish.
This surface gives the watch a different look. The dial drops the wave pattern of the Bond version in favour of a more discreet texture that reinforces Spectre’s visual identity.

Like its blue counterpart, this edition comes on a brushed Milanese bracelet. The two steel models therefore share the same overall architecture, while setting themselves apart through clearly identifiable choices of materials and finishes.
The platinum gold version, reference 210.83.42.20.01.001, takes this identity further. Its polished ceramic bezel is paired with a platinum diving scale and an 18K white gold dial, treated with PVD to achieve a dark grey gradient.
An octopus adorns the dial, adding another symbolic layer to this interpretation. On the rotor, the Spectre emblem is likewise crafted in 18K Moonshine™ gold.
The result is a watch whose aesthetic choices express the world it belongs to, without altering the mechanical base shared by all six pieces.
The 8806 calibre, a shared mechanical heart

Beneath the collection’s different identities lies the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer 8806 calibre. Fitted in all six watches, it provides technical continuity between the James Bond and Spectre versions.
This choice sits at the heart of the concept: the two worlds may be opposed in their symbols and aesthetics while resting on the same mechanical architecture.
The rotors make this duality visible. On the James Bond versions, they display a gun barrel motif. On the Spectre watches, they carry the organisation’s logo. The emblem is therefore not confined to the dial: it extends into the movement, visible through the caseback.

The four watches included in the limited edition box sets feature a polished and brushed caseback secured by the Naiad Lock system. Its wave-edged design picks up a signature OMEGA element.
The information released for this collection gives no further figures on the 8806 calibre. It does, however, confirm that this movement is the common denominator of all six pieces.
Two box sets limited to 77 pieces

The two box sets are the centrepiece of this new collection. Each is limited to just 77 numbered sets and brings together two watches: a stainless steel Seamaster Diver 300M on a brushed Milanese bracelet and a platinum gold version on a leather strap.
The steel watches in the box sets bear their individual limited edition number on a plate at 9 o’clock. The platinum gold versions stand out for their precious construction, with a polished ceramic bezel, platinum diving scale and 18K white gold dial.
The contents of the boxes extend the identity work specific to each world. Each set includes an additional NATO strap and a tool to change it, cufflinks, a rope bracelet, a loupe, a travel pouch, a leather card holder and a certificate of authenticity.
In the James Bond box set, the strap keepers are engraved with the number 007 and the travel pouch comes in blue.
In the Spectre box set, the keepers carry the organisation’s emblem. The cufflinks and rope bracelet are matched to this world, while the travel pouch is black.
This attention to accessories turns each box set into a coherent ensemble built around its identity. The watch remains the centrepiece, but the objects that accompany it extend the experience beyond the wrist.
One watch, two ways to embody an identity

With this collection, OMEGA explores an unusual approach to the themed watch. Rather than choosing a single iconic figure, the manufacture brings together both poles of the same story: the agent who acts in the name of duty and the organisation that claims its independence.
The steel versions offer a way into this world with a watch sold individually. The box sets, for their part, pair a steel version with a platinum gold interpretation, combining both levels of material expression in a limited ensemble.

Blue, black, titanium, ceramic, platinum and white gold are not mere decorative variations. They help build two identities, reinforced by the dial patterns and the emblems on the rotors.
The appeal of this collection lies precisely in that tension. The six watches share the same 42 mm case and the same calibre, but they do not tell the same story. They invite their owner to identify with one of the two worlds, or to appreciate how two opposing identities can live side by side within a single collection.
