La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, 6th October, 2015 – Renowned global affairs magazine, broadcast and retail brand MONOCLE, founded in 2007 by Tyler Brûlé, and Swiss “Avant Garde” watch manufacturer TAG Heuer, run by CEO Jean-Claude Biver, who is also President of the LVMH Watch Division, are proud to announce a new international partnership: TAG Heuer will become the official digital timekeeper of the media company’s 24 hour radio station, Monocle 24.
From tomorrow until summer 2016, TAG Heuer will benefit from consistent visual exposure throughout Monocle.com, Monocle Radio Player and very soon the Monocle 24 app available on iPhone.
A TAG Heuer watch face will show the time to visitors (160,000+ unique users p/month, 1 million+ page views p/month) at the bottom of the page and will ensure permanent presence during users’ navigation on the site.
A new TAG Heuer clock will appear every three months during the campaign. Kicking off in October 2015: the all new Aquaracer will be prominent. TAG Heuer’s logo will appear on the radio bar at the top right of the page, credited with “Presented by TAG Heuer – Official Timekeeper”.
The Monocle 24 mobile app will naturally always be on time with TAG Heuer, giving users full access to Monocle’s audio broadcast, with shows covering and decoding the day’s news, as well as magazine programs for everything from culture to foreign affairs. Users will be able to listen to their favorite shows live or select programs from the archive to enjoy on the go.
This partnership is a first for Monocle and for TAG Heuer.
