On the occasion of the Geneva Watch Days 2026, BYRNE unveils two new creations that tell the story of football differently. With All Number 10 in my Team and Les Grandes Finales, the young watchmaking house transforms the Gyro Dial into a field of expression where mechanics, artistic crafts, sporting memory and collective spirit come together. Brought together in a collector set limited to only 26 pieces, the two watches extend John Byrne’s vision and pay tribute to a certain idea of surpassing oneself.
At BYRNE, football is not simply a source of aesthetic inspiration. It becomes a language. The language of performance, of transmission, of the complementarity of talents and of those rare moments when a group manages to exceed the sum of the individuals who make it up.

This is precisely the vision that had won over John Byrne, founder of the house. With All Number 10 in my Team and Les Grandes Finales, BYRNE today continues this story by making football the common thread of two profoundly different creations, united by the same demand for excellence.
All Number 10 in my Team: the strength of the collective
The title of the first watch alone sums up John Byrne’s philosophy. “All Number 10 in my Team” refers to Booba’s track number 10, of which he was particularly fond, but also to football’s emblematic number.
Traditionally associated with the playmaker, the number 10 designates the one who creates, imagines, inspires and can tip the balance of a match. At BYRNE, however, this figure becomes collective. For while each member of a team has their own talent, it is their combination that makes it possible to reach excellence.
The watch transposes this idea onto its dial. The football pitch becomes the setting for this creation, with a PVD rhodium-plated surface evoking the grass and a central circle that structures the composition. Around this miniature pitch, the grade 5 titanium case almost suggests the stands.
But it is above all the Gyro Dial that brings this interpretation to life.
Mechanics in perpetual motion
The four cubes characteristic of the Gyro Dial can display different representations linked to the world of football: a ball, a trophy, a golden globe, the BYRNE triangle or even numbers inspired by the jerseys of great players.
Every 24 hours, the four cubes pivot simultaneously to offer a new composition. The watch thus retains the same architecture while continually renewing its face.
This aesthetic evolution is accompanied by particularly extensive work on the micro-sculptures. For the first time in this construction, the golden motifs unfold across all four faces of the cubes instead of two previously.
Each cube thus requires 18 stages of production, compared to 14 usually. Four additional stages are needed to create the reliefs and apply the golden finishes.
The result gives the Gyro Dial additional richness and reinforces the impression that the watch is constantly evolving, like a team whose roles and movements change over the course of a match.
Les Grandes Finales: preserving the memory of the game
The second creation takes a different approach. Where All Number 10 in my Team celebrates the collective, Les Grandes Finales focuses on memory.
Some matches go beyond the simple framework of a game. They become references, collective memories whose images, scores and protagonists remain engraved in people’s minds.
For Les Grandes Finales, BYRNE uses the four faces of the Gyro Dial to evoke the last four World Cup finals: 2014, 2018, 2022 and 2026.
Each face renders the essential information of one of these matches. The flags of the two finalist nations appear at 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock, while the score is indicated at 12 o’clock and 6 o’clock. The winner is identified by a small golden star.
When the match went beyond regulation time, the final score also appears in miniature beneath the main score.
A new artistic dimension appears here with the introduction of micro-painting on the flags. On prototype number 1, these are painted by hand under a microscope by a craftsman in Switzerland. Work of extreme precision that takes between one and two weeks.
The distinctive feature of this piece also lies in its relationship with time. The face devoted to the 2026 final could not be definitively completed before the match was played. The finalists, the result and the winner’s star could only be incorporated once the story had been written.
The watch therefore had to wait for the match in order to tell its story.
From the pitch to the strap
The footballing universe imagined by BYRNE continues down to the smallest details. For Les Grandes Finales, the strap made by Maison Jean Rousseau bears on its underside the names of the cities that hosted the four finals: Rio de Janeiro, Moscow, Lusail and New York.
Four places, four dates, four matches that constitute as many landmarks in the recent memory of the World Cup.
Time here becomes a form of mechanical archive. With each rotation of the Gyro Dial, one final gives way to another. The flags change, the scores evolve, but the memory of the feat remains.
The BYRNE 5555 caliber at the heart of the mechanism
Behind these graphic compositions and these artistic crafts lies particularly sophisticated mechanics. The two creations are driven by the automatic BYRNE 5555 caliber, hand-assembled in Switzerland.
Made up of 261 components, the movement forms the mechanical heart of the Gyro Dial and makes it possible to animate the four cubes as well as their multiple representations.
At BYRNE, complexity therefore does not lie solely in the architecture of the movement. It is also found in the interaction between the mechanics, the micro-sculptures and the various decorative elements.
Each new representation requires perfect mastery of the mechanical and aesthetic constraints. An approach that ultimately aligns with the message carried by these two watches: excellence is born from complementarity.
A tribute to John Byrne
Beyond football, All Number 10 in my Team and Les Grandes Finales also mark a new stage in the history of BYRNE following the passing of its founder.
Claire Cohen, today President of the House, intends to continue the trajectory begun by John Byrne without simply reproducing what had already been imagined.
The two new creations reflect this desire for evolution. The Gyro Dial welcomes new expressions, the micro-sculptures are pushed further and micro-painting makes its entrance into this mechanical universe.
The idea is not to freeze John Byrne’s legacy, but to keep it alive through new creations.
A collector set of only 26 pieces
All Number 10 in my Team and Les Grandes Finales are not offered separately. The two watches are brought together in a collector set limited to 26 pieces for the year 2026, that is to say only 52 watches in total.
The case naturally extends the chosen theme. It takes the form of a football made from a very light material and available in shades of green and silver. Pressing the push-button opens it to reveal the two watches set at its center.
The prototype set number 1 benefits from a specific treatment and bears the number 1 on its pusher.
The set numbered 2 to 26 is offered at a price of 45,000 CHF excluding VAT. Set number 1, bringing together the two prototypes, is offered at 60,000 CHF excluding VAT.
With All Number 10 in my Team and Les Grandes Finales, BYRNE demonstrates once again that haute horlogerie can tell a story in a way other than through the traditional codes of complication or decorative craftsmanship.
Football here becomes a metaphor for watchmaking. It is a matter of the collective, of precision, of transmission, of work and of memory. So many notions that find a concrete translation in the rotations of the Gyro Dial, in the hand-crafted micro-sculptures or in the tiny flags painted under a microscope.
