CORUM associates with the Russian cinema and theater actor Maxim Matveev
Corum opens Baselworld 2014 in the presence of cinema star Maxim Matveev – announcing its new partnership sealed with the famous Russian actor.
The intelligent, talented, versatile actor of theatre and cinema, Maxim Matveev has decided to share his values with Corum, and becomes the ambassador of the Swiss Watch Manufacture for the Russian market.
At just 31 years old, Maxim Matveev is one of the most popular actors in Russia. Perfectionist and rigorous in his approach to his profession, he is taking his career to impressive heights, and ambitions to start a career in Los Angeles. Being endowed with many talents, he gives himself completely to different projects in his job, with a unique passion, always challenging himself in giving in each one of his works the illusion of another life. Mr Calce said: “I was really touched when Maxim chose the Ti-Bridge Power Reserve model to wear, as this model represents for me the contemporary watchmaking art housing a high-end content. It shows the affinity he already has for unique horology”.
Since 2006 Maxim is one of the leading actors in the troupe of the Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre under the direction of Oleg Tabakov. In 2008, the movie «The Dandies» appears, which brings Maxim at once great fame and popularity. As of today, Maxim has worked in more than twenty movies, acting in leading roles in such movies as «New Year’s Tariff», «I Will not Tell it», «Wedding on Exchange», «August ‘08», «Mosgaz». In 2014, two new works will be released, the historical movie «Fort Ross» and the screen version of the Dostoyesky novel «The Demons», directed by Vladimir Khotinenko, where Maxim performs the role of Nikolay Stavrogin.
