Behind its 34 mm platinum case lies a true miniature painting. The transparent sapphire dial is entirely hand-decorated using the extremely demanding technique of miniature painting. Every detail is applied with a brush, layer after layer, giving rise to a poetic scene in which an Asian paradise flycatcher rests delicately on a branch of Korean dogwood.

The visual depth is particularly striking. The scene appears to float in space, offering a sense of relief rarely seen on a watch dial.

Beneath this composition appears an original interpretation of the Night & Day complication. The disc, completing a full rotation every twenty-four hours, reveals the Sun and then the Moon in succession, gradually transforming the landscape throughout the day. More than a simple indicator, this complication becomes a narrative element that accompanies the passage of time with rarely matched poetry.

The dial’s asymmetrical architecture fully contributes to this staging. The collection’s famous floral numerals seem to embrace the composition, while a delicate oval flange naturally draws the eye toward the central animation.

Rare Handcrafts in the service of emotion

This creation also showcases the full expertise of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Rare Handcrafts workshops.

The bezel is set with forty-eight baguette-cut diamonds, complemented by brilliant-cut diamonds arranged along the sides of the case and the lugs. The crown, meanwhile, is set with an inverted diamond, which has become one of the Rendez-Vous collection’s emblematic aesthetic signatures.

At the heart of this piece beats the Jaeger-LeCoultre automatic calibre 733, offering a comfortable 70-hour power reserve. Visible through a sapphire caseback, its gold rotor bears witness to the care given to the finest mechanical finishing.

The satin-finished blue alligator strap, perfectly coordinated with the dial’s tones, benefits from the Manufacture’s quick-change system, making it easy to alter the watch’s style.

Rendez-Vous Hour-Minute: everyday sophistication

In contrast to this artistic display, the new Rendez-Vous Hour-Minute adopts a much more refined approach.

With its compact 29 mm diameter, it returns to the very essence of the collection by favouring purity of line and balanced proportions. Available in steel or pink gold, it deliberately forgoes the set bezel to highlight the natural elegance of its polished case.

Its dial takes up the collection’s emblematic codes: sunray guilloché, concentric circles, floral numerals and diamond-set indices. The whole exudes an impression of refined sobriety, where every detail naturally finds its place.

The pink gold version captivates with its monochrome harmony. The hands, numerals and case engage in dialogue with an ivory-toned dial, extended by a satin-finished taupe alligator strap that further enhances the softness of the whole.

A new bracelet designed for comfort

The steel version also introduces an important evolution for the collection.

It receives the new metal bracelet introduced in 2025, recognisable by its diamond-shaped links. This construction offers remarkable flexibility on the wrist and delivers a feel close to that of a metal ribbon. The alternation of polished and satin-finished surfaces adds further visual depth while reinforcing the contemporary character of this version.

The blued hands create a subtle contrast against the white dial, offering a particularly elegant reading of the time.
