One showcases the unpredictable beauty of a natural stone in shades of violet. The other relies on a guilloché salmon dial, brought to life by light and punctuated by Eastern Arabic numerals. Two singular interpretations of contemporary Haute Horlogerie, designed exclusively for 10Ten Labs and its community of collectors.
Kerbedanz and 10Ten Labs: an alliance around independent watchmaking
Founded in Riyadh in 2021 by Khaled Zainalabedin, an entrepreneur, investor and watch collector, 10Ten Labs has gradually established itself as a destination dedicated to independent watchmaking. The Saudi house selects exceptional timepieces and also develops creations inspired by the culture and heritage of the kingdom.
This approach naturally echoes the philosophy of Kerbedanz. Founded in Neuchâtel in September 2011 by Kalust Zorik and Aram Petrosyan, the Swiss Maison was built around a singular vision of Haute Horlogerie, combining mechanical architecture, artistic craftsmanship, symbolism and personal storytelling.
Long focused on bespoke commissions and unique pieces, Kerbedanz began developing its collections in 2017. The Maison is now pursuing its international expansion under Vahé Vartzbed, its CEO since late 2025, with particular attention to contemporary creations for collectors seeking originality.
The partnership with 10Ten Labs is part of this momentum. It rests on a shared vision of watchmaking in which rarity is not an end in itself, but goes hand in hand with a quest for individuality, creativity and meaning.
For Khaled Zainalabedin, this collaboration reflects a desire to offer Saudi collectors timepieces whose identity goes beyond aesthetics alone. Vahé Vartzbed, for his part, highlights the affinity between the two houses and their ambition to build meaningful bridges between contemporary watchmaking and Saudi culture.
65’27’’ Khozama: the mineral poetry of charoite

With the 65’27’’ Khozama, 10Ten Labs Edition, Kerbedanz explores the chromatic richness of a natural stone in which every piece has its own nuances. The name Khozama, associated with lavender in Arabic, evokes the plant’s violet hues and inspires the visual identity of this exclusive edition.
The dial features an hour disc in charoite, a stone recognisable by its variations of violet, lavender and purple. Its natural patterns form an expressive surface whose appearance changes with the light. Each dial thus has a visual personality of its own, reinforcing the watch’s singular character.
The Eastern Arabic numerals contribute to the cultural roots of this creation. They are part of a composition that pairs the materiality of the stone with the contemporary architecture of the 65’27’’ 38 mm collection.
The 38 mm case is made of grade 5 titanium, a material that follows the lines of the watch without drawing attention away from the dial. The sapphire crystal is anti-reflective coated on both sides.

But what sets the Khozama apart is not limited to its choice of material. Time display relies on an original mechanical layout: the hour disc rotates concentrically, while an SLN luminescent marker serves as the hour indicator. The Breguet-style minute hand aligns above this marker. It reveals its full brilliance every 65 minutes and 27 seconds, a signature that gives the collection its name.
This deliberately unconventional way of reading the time fits Kerbedanz’s creative approach. The watch does not simply indicate hours and minutes: it turns reading them into a singular visual experience.
Inside, the KRB10 A automatic calibre beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour, or 4 Hz, and has 25 jewels. The watch comes on a rubber or alligator leather strap, paired with a grade 5 titanium medallion buckle.
Reserved exclusively for 10Ten Labs, the 65’27’’ Khozama carries a suggested retail price of 34,000 Swiss francs excluding tax.
MAXSPOR GR8 41 mm Wahaj: the glow of salmon guilloché

The second creation, the MAXSPOR GR8 41 mm Wahaj, 10Ten Labs Edition, adopts an even more expressive personality, built on colour, relief and the play of reflections.
In Arabic, Wahaj means “radiance”. A particularly fitting name for this guilloché salmon dial, whose tones shift between pink, copper and warmer shades depending on the light.
The openworked, guilloché decorative surface was designed, made and hand-decorated exclusively by Kerbedanz. The pattern gives the dial depth and multiplies its interplay with light. The Eastern Arabic numerals reinforce the cultural identity of this edition while preserving the assertive character of the MAXSPOR GR8.
The grade 5 titanium case measures 41 mm wide and 50 mm long. Its proportions and contemporary architecture house an automatic chronograph movement whose mechanical construction plays a full part in the watch’s identity.

The KRB14-2 calibre comprises 343 components and features a special inverted balance wheel, visible on the dial side. This arrangement showcases part of the movement’s architecture and gives the watch a particularly strong mechanical presence. The calibre offers a 48-hour power reserve, 33 jewels and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, or 4 Hz.
The monopusher chronograph function, with a 30-minute counter, complements the hours, minutes and seconds display. Operating it with a single pusher reflects a functional approach that keeps the overall reading coherent.
The sapphire crystal is anti-reflective coated on both sides. Water resistance is rated at 50 metres, or 5 bar, including for the chronograph, which is designed to withstand pressures equivalent to a static depth of 50 metres.
A rubber strap with a titanium folding clasp completes this edition. It features an interchangeable system, allowing the strap to be changed without altering the watch’s overall identity.
Like the Khozama, the MAXSPOR GR8 41 mm Wahaj is dedicated exclusively to 10Ten Labs. Its suggested retail price is set at 38,000 Swiss francs excluding tax.
Two watches, two aesthetic languages
The two special editions illustrate two ways of expressing Kerbedanz’s personality. The Khozama favours the organic singularity of charoite, whose patterns and nuances never repeat exactly. The Wahaj relies on controlled decorative work, in which guilloché and salmon tones give the dial a luminous presence.
What they share is the combination of distinctive Swiss mechanics and visual elements inspired by Saudi culture. The Eastern Arabic numerals, the chosen names and the use of colour are not mere decorative details: they help build each piece’s identity.
This approach reflects a broader shift in independent watchmaking, where exclusive collaborations allow houses to develop creations for specific collector communities. By joining forces with 10Ten Labs, Kerbedanz offers two interpretations designed for a market to which the Maison attaches growing importance.
Timeology Nights 2026: a stage for independent watchmaking

The first edition of Timeology Nights takes place from 9 to 13 October 2026 at the Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh. Conceived as a gathering devoted to watchmaking, craftsmanship, transmission and cultural exchange, the event brings together international houses, independent watchmakers, collectors and enthusiasts.
Special projects and novelties for the Saudi watch community hold a special place there. The unveiling of the two Kerbedanz x 10Ten Labs editions fits squarely with this focus, giving concrete expression to the meeting of Swiss watchmaking creativity and local cultural inspiration.
For Kerbedanz, this collaboration marks a new stage in its international development. For 10Ten Labs, it confirms its commitment to offering exclusive creations that celebrate independent watchmaking and cultural singularity.
With Khozama and Wahaj, the two partners stage two complementary visions of time: one mineral and ever-changing, the other luminous and sculpted by guilloché. Two watches that assert their identity without giving up their mechanical ambition.
