Last weekend, from 17th to 21st September, four female teams gathered at the 3rd Women’s French Open Polo championships in the leafy setting of the Polo Club on the Chantilly estate, in France.
The Hecla, Tom Tailor and Esprit du Maryland polo teams competed in the qualifying matches alongside the Charriol squad.
Players Marie-Victoire de Coulange (captain), Emmanuelle Morandi, Caroline Anier and Emma Boers proudly sported the colours of the Swiss watchmaking brand Charriol.

The Charriol team showed great tenacity, finishing in third place, having battled on bravely during a downpour to win the first qualifying match. The outcome of the second match was decided by penalty shots. The Tom Tailor team finally emerged victorious.
