Comfort and functionality
Rolex watch bracelets are designed to offer the greatest comfort while embodying the brand’s signature values of elegance. That is why Rolex has developed and patented ingenious extension systems — simple and functional — for the bracelets of its Oyster collection watches. Requiring no tools whatsoever, these innovations give the wearer the freedom to enjoy their watch in any circumstance.

The Easylink comfort extension
Patented by Rolex in 1996, the Easylink quick extension link makes it easy to adjust the length of the bracelet for extra comfort. Discreetly built into the clasp, this system consists of a link that can be easily unfolded or folded back on itself, allowing the bracelet to be lengthened or shortened by approximately 5 mm.

Extension systems for dive watches
Rolex has developed specific extension systems for its dive watches so that they can be easily worn over a wetsuit by adjusting — without any tools whatsoever — the length of the bracelet.
The Rolex Glidelock fine-adjustment system
This particularly inventive device allows fine adjustment of the bracelet length by around 20 mm, in increments of about 2 mm, thanks to an extension rack located under the clasp cover. The watch can thus be worn over a wetsuit up to 3 mm thick. The Rolex Glidelock system equips the Submariner, Submariner Date, Sea-Dweller and Rolex Deepsea models.
On the Rolex Deepsea model, the Rolex Glidelock system — thanks to a removable rack that lifts away from the clasp cover — lets the wearer adjust the bracelet length while keeping the watch on the wrist.

The Fliplock extension links
Once deployed, these extension links allow the bracelet to be lengthened by 26 mm on the Rolex Deepsea and on the Sea-Dweller.
The Sea-Dweller and the Rolex Deepsea benefit from both of these extension systems. When combined, the watch can be worn over a wetsuit up to 7 mm thick.
