In endurance racing, some parts are never mere components. They absorb heat, pressure, repeated braking and the extreme stresses of a race where every second can reshuffle the standings. At Lorige, these racing elements become a raw material for watchmaking.

To celebrate its new partnership with Inter Europol Competition, the Swiss watchmaker is unveiling the BL-Evolution “Competition”, a limited edition of 50 pieces whose case and dial are made from Carbon/Carbon material taken from brake pads that actually raced on the team’s LMP2 prototypes No. 43 and No. 343.
This is a watch that does more than borrow a racing team’s colours or codes. It physically carries a piece of its history.
Two independents brought together by racing
The partnership between Lorige and Inter Europol Competition rests on a shared culture: independence, technical precision and performance.
Founded by former motorsport specialists, including race engineers, a driver manager and a Carbon/Carbon composites expert, Lorige has developed a patented technology that turns Carbon/Carbon braking materials from motor racing into watch cases.
This approach calls for particular mastery of the material, but also a different way of thinking about a watch’s provenance. Every element Lorige uses retains part of its history. It is not simply a material chosen for its technical qualities: it comes from racing and has been subjected to real race conditions.
The brand, whose watches are assembled and finished by hand in Switzerland, has grown largely through word of mouth within the international motorsport community, among drivers, teams and racing enthusiasts.
Inter Europol Competition, endurance in its DNA

The choice of Inter Europol Competition reflects that same culture of performance.
Founded in 2010, the team gradually moved from single-seater and prototype racing to top-level international endurance. Today it competes in several major programmes, including the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, the European Le Mans Series, the Michelin Le Mans Cup and the Asian Le Mans Series.
Its record at Le Mans is one of the defining chapters of its recent history.
Inter Europol Competition has claimed three LMP2 class wins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, in 2023 and 2025, before achieving a historic result in 2026 with a one-two finish: cars No. 43 and No. 343 finished first and second in their class respectively.
The BL-Evolution “Competition” celebrates precisely this winning run.
The material used to make it comes from the two cars that took the top two places in LMP2 at the 2026 race. The link between the race and the watch thus becomes literal.
Racing Carbon/Carbon on the wrist

Carbon/Carbon lies at the heart of this creation.
Lorige reused brake material from LMP2 cars No. 43 and No. 343 to make the monobloc case and the dial of the BL-Evolution “Competition”.
Behind this transformation lie three years of research and development devoted to perfecting the Maison’s patented process.
The material, proven under the particularly demanding conditions of endurance racing, thus becomes the housing of a timepiece designed to carry that story forward.
Heat, pressure, deceleration: the stresses the material endured on track are no longer just a memory. They become an integral part of the watch.
The BL-Evolution “Competition” thus becomes a true horological trophy.
A 50 x 42 mm architecture

Measuring 50 x 42 mm, the BL-Evolution “Competition” has a wrist presence that lives up to its motorsport DNA.
The Carbon/Carbon monobloc case is paired with a Grade 5 titanium bezel and caseback, with satin-brushed and polished finishes.
The titanium torque-limiting crown uses the same material and features grey Neoralite inserts.
The colour palette is instantly recognisable. Touches of yellow and green punctuate the design and directly echo the colours of Inter Europol Competition.
The result makes no attempt to hide its inspiration. It embraces a racing aesthetic while retaining genuine watchmaking substance.
A dial that measures every second
Beneath the gradient sapphire dial, an openworked upper bridge reveals part of the movement and its various finishes.
The display combines hours, minutes, seconds and power reserve.
But it is the small seconds that forms the real focal point of this architecture.
A sunburst pattern radiates from the centre of the seconds display, deliberately drawing the eye to the smallest fractions of time. A choice that is as symbolic as it is aesthetic: in endurance racing, a single second can be enough to change the outcome of a race.
The seconds and power reserve displays have also been redesigned in two parts to accentuate the depth of the dial.
The rhodium-plated numerals ensure legibility thanks to their hollowed centres filled with Super-LumiNova GL. The hands are coated with Grey GL Super-LumiNova®, while the indexes are highlighted with White GL Super-LumiNova®.
Around the seconds and power reserve displays, rhodium-plated rings feature yellow and green lacquer accents, once again recalling the identity of Inter Europol Competition.
LOR-DB03: seven days of mechanical endurance

At the heart of the BL-Evolution “Competition” beats the new LOR-DB03 hand-wound calibre.
Its twin-barrel construction delivers a power reserve of 168 hours, or seven days.
This autonomy is a direct nod to the world of endurance racing. A mechanism able to store and release its energy over an extended period naturally echoes the prototypes from which the case material comes.
Despite its complex architecture, the movement is only 3.98 mm thick with a diameter of 31.10 mm.
It comprises 175 components and 29 jewels and beats at 21,600 vibrations per hour, a frequency of 3 Hz.
“Duo-Tone” according to Lorige
The finishing of the LOR-DB03 also contributes to the watch’s identity.
Lorige has developed a decoration called “Duo-Tone”, combining different textures and surface treatments.
Microblasted and rhodium-plated surfaces sit alongside sunburst finishing and hand-made bevelling.
This variety of finishes gives the movement a particular depth when viewed through the sapphire dial and the transparent caseback.
The mechanism is therefore not merely visible: it becomes an integral part of the watch’s visual spectacle.
A strap inspired by the racing harness

The motorsport theme extends all the way to the strap.
For this edition, Lorige has developed a new hybrid strap combining rubber and technical fabric. Its construction draws directly on that of a motor racing harness.
The Quick&Release system, fitted as standard here, makes changing the strap simple.
A Grade 5 titanium folding clasp, satin-brushed and polished by hand, completes the set. It offers six millimetres of fine adjustment to optimise comfort on the wrist.
The caseback, for its part, takes up the racing colour palette with a satin finish punctuated by grey lacquer details.
A watch that truly carries the race
This is probably where the whole singularity of the BL-Evolution “Competition” lies.
Many watchmaking collaborations with motorsport borrow a name, a livery, a colour or a story.
Lorige takes a different approach.
The material itself has taken part in the competition.
The Carbon/Carbon of the case and dial comes from components used on the two Inter Europol Competition LMP2 cars involved in the historic 2026 victory.
The owner of one of these pieces therefore wears more than a watch inspired by endurance racing. They wear a material that has lived through its stresses.
Clément Etienvre, CEO of Lorige, sums up this philosophy by explaining that the BL-Evolution “Competition” is not simply inspired by the team: it is “physically forged” from a material that raced with it.
This approach gives the notion of provenance a particularly concrete dimension.
A new chapter for Lorige

The launch of this series also comes during a phase of international growth for Lorige.
The Maison relies in particular on FundTime LLC, an American investor specialising in supporting growing brands, to back its development through strategic investment, strategy and selective distribution across an expanding network of partners.
For Lior Arussy, co-founder of FundTime LLC, Lorige’s appeal lies notably in this combination of watchmaking independence, racing-derived material and an authentic story.
The brand thus intends to continue its growth among collectors and the international motorsport community.
A mechanical trophy in 50 pieces
With only 50 pieces produced worldwide, the Lorige BL-Evolution “Competition” embodies a meeting between two disciplines in which precision and resilience are decisive.
On one side, Inter Europol Competition’s LMP2 prototypes, subjected to the stresses of endurance and capable of turning every second gained into a result.
On the other, a hand-wound watch movement whose two barrels provide seven days of autonomy and whose case holds the physical memory of the race.
The BL-Evolution “Competition” therefore does more than tell the story of a victory.
It preserves a trace of it.
A piece of Carbon/Carbon that faced the heat and decelerations of the track becomes the case of a Swiss watch assembled and finished by hand. Race time thus meets watchmaking time, and Inter Europol Competition’s victory finds a new life on collectors’ wrists.
