Luxury watch counterfeiting: the final moments of the Paris trial, with the defence lawyers’ closing pleadings.
Paris has featured in the columns of Passion Horlogère since 2010: this page gathers the articles devoted to boutique openings, exhibitions, auctions, trade shows and sporting events where watch brands have shown themselves in the capital.
On the boutiques and flagships side, the thread runs over more than a decade. Bucherer Paris opens in 2013, Omega inaugurates a Left Bank boutique the same year, then Panerai opens a new address in 2014. In 2020, Grand Seiko opens its first boutique on place Vendôme. In 2021, Vacheron Constantin settles into La Samaritaine and Watchfinder & Co. opens its first Paris boutique. Next come the MB&F Lab in 2022, Casa Panerai announced in 2023, Jaeger-LeCoultre at Galeries Lafayette and Breitling on the Champs-Élysées in 2024, then Herbelin in 2025.
Exhibitions hold a regular place: Breguet and its Tradition exhibition in 2015, “Reverso: Intemporelle depuis 1931” at Jaeger-LeCoultre in 2021, the GPHG winners shown in Paris the same year, or Hom Nguyen at Bucherer Paris in 2024.
For auctions and trade shows, Artcurial inaugurated a session dedicated to watchmaking and jewellery on 13 and 14 January 2026, and Millon is putting collectible watches up for auction in Paris in 2026. On the trade show side, there is Alainpers at the Révélations show at the Grand Palais in 2019, We Love Watches in 2023 and an exclusive piece by Kross Studio for Chronopassion Paris in 2025.
Sport offers another angle: Longines Masters de Paris (2015 to 2017) and Paris Eiffel Jumping, TAG Heuer then Garmin at the Paris Marathon (2016, 2023), the Rolex Paris Masters in 2017, an Omega Paris 2024 Olympic watch presented in 2023 and, more recently, the Longines Global Champions Tour 2025 in Paris. Workshops are not forgotten, with an immersion at Briston in 2025 or the takeover of the Huguet Paris workshop in 2015.
